The fundamentals of breadmaking

£120.00

For aspiring home bread bakers or those with limited experience (or success), we start from scratch and focus on yeasted recipes from classic loaves to focaccia.

The courses are run by the old chap (Simon Wooster) who started the family bakery at Bardwell back in 1989 before moving into various technical roles in the baking and flour milling industries. The aim is to provide enjoyable, practical instruction, some insights into the world of baking and send you off with full stomachs (we’ll feed you), bread (that you’ve made) and the knowledge to do it all over again in your own homes.

Each class lasts a full day (9am to 4.30pm) and is tailored for both complete novices and those with more experience who want to refine their breadmaking skills. Places are limited to a maximum of six per class and are priced at £120 per person.

Courses are held at our bakery in Riddlesworth, IP22 2TD.
